A lovely sunny Sunday Visit to Surrey Dock Farm - this urban city farm is just across the water from Canary Wharf but is a world away. With pigs, donkeys, a Shetland Pony, goats, chickens and baby lamb season upon us, now is a great time to visit! 🐑

Open daily from 10-4:00, no admission charges, and there is an awesome cafe, The Barn, on site! 🐮

Tiptoe through the tulips at Hampton Court ... their annual Tulip Festival returns next week🌷
This week during half term, the Lindt chocolate bunnies are back, with a fantastic bunny hunt organised around the grounds. 🐰

Happy U.K. Mothers Day 💐
We went to a lovely pub in Chelsea and then hit the playground next door. Nothing too wild and crazy, but this gorgeous magnolia tree was also in that neck of the woods, out in full bloom! Looking forward to the first day a spring tomorrow and hopefully some warm weather soon! #magnoliaseason #chelsealondon #mothersdaylunch #floralsforspring #mylondonlife #magnoliablossom

This past weekend we embarked on our annual visit

This past weekend we embarked on our annual visit to Kew Gardens for the Orchid Festival. I'm usually all about bringing the kids - but this was not the easiest adventure... I have a few tips for how to make it a good experience!

Make sure you have tickets for the Orchid Festival (get them when you get your tickets to the garden and pre-book the playground as well!) There we're lots of disappointed people turned away having the wrong tickets (even if you are a member, get the tickets - your membership card is not enough!)

Going on a Sunday, I waited 40 minutes in line, and then it took about 40 minutes to go through the exhibition - noticeably back to pre pandemic levels. It would have been nearly impossible for my kids to handle the lines, so @mlynch194 gets a huge shout out for taking the kids to The Children's Playground so they could run wild while I saw the orchids. 🛝
I think going midweek would be much easier! The flowers and exhibition are gorgeous as usual - this year's theme is Cameroon, the Lion was definitely the showstopper! #kewgardensorchidfestival #kewgardenslondon #orchidshow #orchidfestival #londonwithkids #kewgardenskids #familydayout

On Friday I joined @bringyourbaby_londonwalks for a relaxing tour of Primrose Hill. I highly recommend for a relaxed and kid friendly tour to learn more about different pockets of London. The youngest baby was 5 weeks (!) and the oldest child was mine at 2.5 years. Was nice to chat, have a lunch break, and get a bit of a workout in too (Scott ran up Primrose Hill which is no small feat) plus, we ended the tour with every child napping on their pram!

Highlights were learning all about the history of the neighborhood and it's famous residents, including Paddington Bear! We even ran into a neighbor who confirmed my film crew sighting a few months ago, they are coming out with Paddington 3 🐻 #primrosehill #paddingtonbear #paddingtoninlondon #afternoonwalks #paddingtonmovie #londonmoments #londonwalk #corneroflondon #kidsinlondon #kidfriendlylondon
